"I Believe"

This was recorded during a benefit performance for "Hope For Haiti" held in Fourth Story Theater, West End Methodist Church, Nashville, TN. It was written in 1953 by Ervin Drake, Irvin Graham, Jimmy Shirl and Al Stillman, and was the first hit song ever introduced on TV. My thanks to the Bill Wilkerson hearing institute for teaching me the American sign language for it.

"La Petite Mort"

Live at the Vail Theatre of the Arts in Tucson, AZ on November 16, 2015

Filmed during the "Funny Females of Folk" show featuring Cheryl Wheeler, Christine Lavin, and Cosy Sheridan, the show broke the theater's attendance record!

"Prairie Fire"

Filmed November 23rd, 2016 at the Folk Alliance Regional Midwest conference. This song was minspired by one of Claudia's best girlfriends. An appaloosa named Misty Starlight.k

"Miss Kitty"

Live show January 31, 2016 benefiting "A Promise For Haiti" which supports nurses being sent to Haiti to care for those in need. This was a multimedia show, with several of Claudia's songs visually supported. The "Gunsmoke" footage seen here was created by Kitnkaboodle. She has an entire youtube page dedicated to Amanda Blake!

"Georgia Boy"

This video was filmed in Orleans, MA by Paul Cass. My thanks to both Paul and the Captain Linnell House, who so graciously allowed us to film on their grounds. If you visit Cape Cod, this is a lovely place to go for exquisite dining! Website

"His Left Side"

The cover picture is of Claudiia and her father riding in the Elk Grove Western Festival parade. Claudia on Misty, Dad on a horse called "Dan" by Claudia's sister, but called "son" by her father. No wonder the horse got confused about where he was going! This is probably Claudia's most requested song. Have a tissue handy.

"I Wonder If I'll Miss You When You're Dead"

Filmed during a showcase at the Western Arts Alliance Conference in Los Angeles, CA in August 2013 Watch this video all the way to the end!

"Big Country"

With vintage images from Ellis Island and spectacular scenery of American Landmarks, this song tells the story of immigration in America. "Katrina & Ole" in the second verse are actually Claudia's great grandparents Ole & Ingeborg. The blizzard footage was shot 90 miles from where her mother was born and raised in Grenora, ND.

"A Thousand Pounds"

I love playing the Kerrville Folk Festival, and not just the mainstage. There are jams all over the ranch after mainstage is over, and it is so much fun to wander around from camp to camp and sit in with other acts. I was thrilled when Bob Beach and David Jacobs-Strain came and sat in with me at camp "Sweetness and Light". The festival runs three weeks beginning Memorial Day weekend.

Claudia won the Kerrville Folk Festival songwriting competition with this song and another entitled "Georgia Boy". This video is from a live performance at the Folk Alliance Region Midwest Conference in Chicago on October 9th, 2010.

Live performance at Concerts on the Cumberland. It includes footage of actual coyotes in the wild, and captures their howling. The howling was difficult to find because they don't really howl as much as they scream like a dog hit by a car!
