This is a live performance, shot in June of 2012 at Concerts on the Cumberland. It includes footage of actual coyotes in the wild, and captures their howling. The howling was difficult to find because they don't really howl as much as they scream like a dog hit by a car. Not a pleasant sound to add!

NEW VIDEO OF "BIG COUNTRY"!
Filled with immigration images from Ellis Island, and scenic shots of American landmarks, this isn't a performance video, it's more like a mini movie. Claudia's song "Big Country" went to # 8 on the Folk DJ Chart. "Katrina & Ole" in the second verse are actually Claudia's great grandparents Ole & Ingeborg. The blizzard footage was shot 90 miles from where her mother was born and raised in Grenora, ND.

WITH GREAT "GUNSMOKE" FOOTAGE!
One of the most poplular songs on Claudia's new CD "Let The Storm Roll In", among DJ's and press alike, is "Miss Kitty". The tune good naturedly protests the lack of smooching between Kitty and Matt Dillon in the long running TV Western "Gunsmoke". This new video was put together by "Kitnkabootle" in England who has a you tube channel dedicated to the late Amanda Blake who played the role of Miss Kitty. Kitnkabootle has done a great job of editing the scenes to fit the lyric of the song.

The competition on this chart is daunting... there isn't a name here you won't recognize. For this first
release, with none of the DJs knowing who Claudia was, to make it all the way up to #126 (out of over 600) is an impressive accomplishment. Especially given that the CD came out at the beginning of the summer when so many known artists are releasing new CDs to support their summer tours. Claudia is still getting spins from these stations six months later.
